I have since had some correspondence: with: the: Admiralty ( Director

of Transports ) with reference: to one item vik.... a charge: of g// for Mina: Mary A.. Lee› & Government passenger from London, tm

Hongkong. Misa Lee is on the staff of the Government hospital.

at: Hongkong.. & on the passenger list was marked"- Government:

passenger".

The Admiralty under date 80 July writes:* I have to inform you

that your balance of / for attendance on Miss Lee cannot be

paid by this Department, as she was not: afval or Military

passenger.. Your application should be addressed to the Dada Secretary

As Miss Lee was undoubtedly a Government passengers as such.

Oame under the rule forbidding me to charge her, as aprivate

passenger I mall be glad if you will kindly give this matter

attention at your convenience..
